Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Combine oats, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, wheat germ and cinnamon in a large bowl.

In a small bowl, combine oil and honey. Pour this mixture over the oat mixture and coat the dry ingredients. Spread this mixture in a shallow 9X13 inch baking pan, and bake for 15 minutes stirring frequently. Let the granola cool.

After the granola cools, stir in the dried apples and raisons into granola mixture. Store in the refrigerator in a covered container.


This granola yields 5 2 cups. One serving is 1/4 cup. That provides you with 140 calories, 7 grams of fat, 0 cholesterol, 0 sodium,1 gram dietary fiber, and 2 mg of vitamin E.
